Hello, my name is Suwachi. I live in Bangkok, Thailand. I graduated from Ramkhamheang University, majoring in English. During my college years, I went to the USA with Work & Travel program to work as a culinary member in Hurricane Harbor Six Flag in Texas for 3 months. I had a lot of fun there because I had a chance to work and meet new people from different countries visiting the land of happiness and I saw so many kids being so much happy and smiling from their deep inside. Honestly, that was a great time for me. It made me realize that I love being around children very much. In my free time, I love jogging and love to do adventure. I also interested in camping, so I really like to go to mountains or natural places with friends when I am off from work. Sometimes I am a volunteer teacher with a group of friends from the University. We only have this project one time for a year.
As for my childcare experiences, I started collecting hours of childcare at Kido Ramkhamhaeng Center (preschool) for over 200 hours. There are around 18 kids were separated into three groups. My general responsibilities in 7 kids that included feeding kids lunch and snack time with a spoon, feeding milk with bottles and cups, bathing and changing diapers, and putting them to bed. In the classes, it was fumished by the big playthings with soft surface as to support the little kids who were in the process of learning how to balance themselves when moving. Moreover, I have been taking care of my nephew sometimes at home. I have taken the responsibility to help my sister looking after my nephew since 5 months till now (when my school close it was about 3 months per year). I am happy to help my sister. Also, I help my friend looking after her niece when her sister leaves for abroad. She would ask me for help to pick up her niece from school and help her with homework and play with her until my friend comes back from work.
When I'm done with the Au pair program, I will return to Thailand and work in the field of tourism and hospitality, so that I can use languages in my future job. I hope that you would kindly consider and give me the opportunity to work for your family.
